- Put 3 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the cubed tofu to the skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook. Stir and turn occasionally until it's golden and crisp on at least a few sides, 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add the garlic to the skillet along with 1 cup ketchup and 0.5 tsp cayenne powder. Cook, stirring until the ketchup starts to bubble and caramelize around the edges of the skillet.
- Toss the tofu to coat with the sauce, add a splash of water if it needs to be saucier.
